Campiglio is not the wildest freeride destination in the Dolomites, but it still offers interesting opportunities for riders wanting to venture off-piste. Some north-facing slopes, especially after fresh snowfall, hold powder well. The red and black runs provide solid vertical to work on speed and rhythm. Access to the broader Skirama Dolomiti circuit significantly expands the available territory.

Getting There

Campiglio is accessible by car from the A22 motorway, exit Trento Nord, then the SS239 road through the Brenta Dolomites — already a spectacular drive. From Milan, FlixBus offers a direct service (around 3 hours). Travellers by train arrive at Trento, from where seasonal shuttles and buses climb to Campiglio in about 90 minutes. The village itself is compact but lively, with restaurants, rental shops, and well-equipped snowboard schools.
