Snowboarding Forum

Snowboarding Forum is the busiest English-language snowboard forum, running since 2006. It is where to look when a gear question has no answer in Italian: the user base is large enough — around fifty-four thousand members, with an archive of over a million posts — that almost every board, binding or boot on sale has already been discussed by somebody who actually rode it.

It is operated by VerticalScope, which runs hundreds of interest forums. It is not tied to a shop or a brand, though the footer does disclose affiliate links.

What you will find

• Reviews and comparisons of boards, bindings and boots, often with several independent opinions on the same model
• Dedicated splitboard and backcountry sections
• Regional sections, mostly North American, useful when planning a trip overseas
• Discussion of technique, setup problems and troubleshooting gear faults

One honest caveat

It is an English-language, largely North American forum: excellent for gear, useless for conditions on Italian pistes. For those, stay with the Italian forums and groups.
