Born To Ride

Born To Ride runs snow weekends in Bardonecchia and is one of the best-known formats among riders travelling up from Turin and the plain: transport, accommodation and a group to share two days with, without having to organise anything yourself.

The base is the Villaggio Olimpico in Bardonecchia, with free reserved parking opposite. The package is all-inclusive: hotel, skipass, dinners, breakfasts, après-ski, party, gadgets and staff on site. Each season brings a run of weekends; the calendar is published in autumn and bookings open before winter.

Lessons

The #LEARNTOFUN programme is four hours spread across the weekend, two on Saturday and two on Sunday, in small groups across four levels from complete beginner to advanced. The price is lower if you book well ahead of the stay.

Lessons are for over-16s only; for children the site says to write to lezioni@borntoride.it. Board, ski and helmet rental is handled at the Welcome Desk without booking.

How the weekend runs

The rhythm is always the same: Welcome Desk on Saturday morning, après-ski at Harald’s Ski Bar in Campo Smith in the afternoon, dinner at the hotel, and on Sunday a lunchtime DJ set up the mountain before the lifts close. The Friday night can be added.

The WELCOME TO FUN wristband gives discounts at partner chalets on the slopes and on rental. The old btrweekend.it domain redirects to the Born To Ride site.
