FIS Snowboard Europa Cup – Snowboard Cross at Cervinia
A few days after the World Cup, the Cervinia glacier also hosts two days of Europa Cup snowboard cross, on 17 and 18 December 2026. It is the same high-altitude snow that makes the resort the opening venue for the senior circuit.
The Europa Cup is the second tier of the international FIS circuit, one step below the World Cup. It is where younger riders build the points they need to reach the top level, and for spectators it is a rare opportunity: you get to watch very strong athletes at close range, without the crowds or the ticketing of a World Cup stop.
This is not an event you sign up for: for anyone not competing the only thing to do is go and watch, and access is free for spectators. The link on this page goes to the official page for the race, where the timetable and start lists appear in the days beforehand and the results afterwards; the organising committee may adjust the schedule and the course depending on snow conditions. Television and streaming coverage is announced race by race and varies from country to country.
