The 2025/26 season looks excellent for Italian freestylers. Resorts have invested heavily in their parks, with new features, professional shapers and packed event calendars. Here are our top 6 must-ride snowparks.

1. Mottolino Snowpark — Livigno

The king of Italian snowparks. With 4 lines, over 40 features, an FIS halfpipe and Olympic venue status for Milano-Cortina 2026, Mottolino is in a class of its own. Shaping is handled by professionals throughout the entire season.

Highlight: Olympic halfpipe + 4 lines for all levels Best period: December–March

2. Boarderland — Sestriere

The Milky Way resort’s park has improved significantly in recent years. The pro line hosts regular contests and the beginner line is perfect for those getting into freestyle. Easy access from Turin makes it a convenient choice.

Highlight: strategic location, solid contest line Best period: January–March

3. Ursus Snowpark — Madonna di Campiglio

Over 100,000 m² dedicated to freestyle in the Brenta Dolomites. Ursus Snowpark was awarded “Test Winner 2025” by Skiresort.info and regularly hosts World Rookie Tour events. The pro L Line is among the most respected in the Alps, but there are lines for all levels. Shaping is consistent and snow quality at altitude is excellent.

Highlight: massive size, international events (Ursus Rookie Fest, World Rookie Finals) Best period: December–March

4. Snowpark Obereggen — South Tyrol

Obereggen is one of Italy’s most meticulously maintained parks. Moderate size but top quality — every feature is well built and kept in shape. Ideal for intermediate to advanced riders.

Highlight: feature build quality, professional shaping Best period: December–February

5. Park Cervinia

High altitude guarantees excellent snow late into spring. The park is not the biggest but it is one of the few open in May. Perfect for those looking for spring sessions.

Highlight: long season, snow quality Best period: March–May

6. Snowpark Madesimo

A hidden gem in Valchiavenna. The park is well-structured with beginner and intermediate lines, and the resort is far less crowded than other areas. Great for relaxed sessions with a small crew.
